Coursework: Learning

Colour correction - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1xPcUZnZF8

At first I had virtually no experience with Adobe Premiere Pro at all so this was all new to me. From editing using all the windows and tools given to me. I was in charge of all the editing done and I had always wanted to have it in 21:9 to closely imitate real films and to be more cinematic. So i just searched up how i could be able to do this. There were many methods; one being putting b It was surprisingly easy though being very confusing at first. The next part which is obviously essential to all film is the colour correction. I wanted it to have very pretty colours and for it to really pop. We were lucky enough to have a very beautiful sunset which gave me a lot to work with. Some of the scenes had the colours i wanted already so i based the other scenes of that to keep the continuity. So i went off to research about how to colour correct in Adobe Premiere Pro. It taught me tips such as having several colour correction files is much easier to manage and to have another layer for it because colour correcting on the scenes itself mean that you have to manually do it for every other scene. Having a layer just for this means that I can just make one and drag it over several scenes. I played around randomly with it at first to get to know what it can do. I then just try to match as closely as possible to the scene which had the colours I wanted. This has worked out pretty well in my opinion and I am happy about the colour correction in our work.
